Leigh Francis x Mister Miller: Limited Edition Hats With Character

The collection dropped online in June 2025 with early pre orders flying out the door. Those in the know didn't need convincing: a collaboration between a quietly eccentric hat-maker and one of Britain's most playful visual storytellers? That's a pairing worth tipping your hat to.

When Leigh Francis first stepped into the Mister Miller studio, he didn’t come empty-handed. He came with a sketchbook full of characters—loose, funny, a little twisted—and a head full of hat ideas. Not trends. Not throwbacks. Just pure invention.

What followed is the Leigh Francis x Mister Miller collaboration: a limited-edition collection of five oversized Bakerboy caps, each one featuring Leigh’s hand-drawn artwork, reimagined in cloth and crafted by Miller.

These aren’t fashion pieces. They’re attitude in soft form.

Every cap in the collection is made using our signature snap peak Bakerboy shape - extra full int he body, with just the right balance of structure and slouch. Inside? A 70's toned custom lining printed with Leigh's original illustration of his own distinctive silhouette. On the outside? Unexpected pairings, bold silhouettes and that unmistakeable "a bit odd, but works," energy Leigh brings to everything he touches.

And no detail’s too small. Each cap carries the Mister Miller keyhole pin—our signature mark of craftsmanship and individuality.

There’s also a film. Quietly cinematic. Slightly surreal. And starring Leigh himself—in hats he imagined and we brought to life.

This is what happens when you give the pen to the illustrator and the fabric to the maker.

Caps with character. Hats with humour. And just enough mischief to keep things interesting.

Watch Leigh Francis in his new podcast series entitled Unlikely Friends featuring Jill Francis, Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice, and Jade Jones, musician and frontman of the band Damage.
