Albert’s Holy Smoke. A Bakerboy Cap Made for Cigar Lovers
There is something reassuringly old fashioned about cigar culture.
Not in a stuffy sense. More in the way it encourages people to slow down properly for an hour. Good conversation, low lighting, heavy armchairs, the smell of tobacco and cedar lingering quietly in the background. It is one of the few rituals left that still feels deliberately unhurried.
When Sautter Cigars approached Mister Miller about creating a collaboration, the idea came together surprisingly quickly.
A Bakerboy cap with a concealed cigar compartment hidden beneath the crown.
Practical, discreet and just eccentric enough to feel brilliant.
The result became Albert’s Holy Smoke, a limited edition Bakerboy handcrafted for cigar lovers who appreciate good design as much as a good smoke.
A Hidden Detail Designed Properly
From the outside, Albert’s Holy Smoke remains understated.
The shape is classic Mister Miller. Soft structure, relaxed proportions and a silhouette designed to feel natural rather than overly styled. Nothing about it immediately gives away what sits beneath the crown.
Inside, however, a concealed lined pocket safely holds a cigar until the moment feels right.
The detail was inspired partly by traditional tailoring and classic motoring design, where some of the best features are hidden quietly beneath the surface. The kind of thing discovered gradually rather than announced immediately.
It is functional, but also playful.
A conversation piece without trying too hard to become one.
Crafted in Cashmere and Camel Hair
Albert’s Holy Smoke was produced in black cashmere and camel hair, chosen for their softness, warmth and relaxed drape. It has also been made in grey Merino lambswool.
The cap feels equally suited to walking through Mayfair, sitting in a cigar lounge in Knightsbridge or disappearing into the corner of a leather weekend bag alongside a lighter and newspaper.
Like many of the best accessories, it works because it does not overcomplicate itself.
It simply takes one idea and executes it properly.
For over half a century, Sautter Cigars has been one of London’s best known names in luxury cigars, with stores in Mayfair and Knightsbridge serving generations of cigar enthusiasts.
The collaboration with Mister Miller brought together two worlds that already shared a similar appreciation for craftsmanship, atmosphere and understated style.
Albert’s Holy Smoke was never intended to be mass produced. It was created for people who enjoy details, character and objects with a story behind them.
A Bakerboy cap with a hidden cigar pocket may not be essential.
Which is precisely why it feels so enjoyable.
